Calling all Glaswegians I need your help desperately please.

I have being searching for somewhere to rent for a week in Glasgow for days and my eyes are going sore. Do you have any recommendations?

My main problems are I need 2 rooms one double and one with 2 single beds. The other problem is dh is 6ft 2 and can't sleep in beds that have wooden bits or wrought iron bits at the end as his feet need to dangle off the end. (it is not the first time he has had to sleep on the floor!).

If anyone can help me I will be enternally grateful.

Does it have to be central, or can it be further out?

Not really sure what kind of accommodation you're looking for - is it a hotel, guest house sort of thing? Tourist Information, Glasgow or the VisitScotland website may be the best places to help if you haven't already tried them.

Have you tried www.whitehouse-apartments.com? They're in the West End of Glasgow which is a good place to stay if you don't have to be in the city centre. We've rented studio apartments and 2 bedroomed places from them for weekends and weeks at a time for family and friends who visit. Well worth a look at their site if you haven't already. Can't vouch for the length or style of beds though!

Glasjam - thank you, I had looked at that website and for some reason had discounted it, which for some reason I cannot fathom out now (I have been looking for days and my head has turned to mush!), so have sent an enquiry.

If anyone has anymore, I am looking for anything self catering, 11th-18th April not bothered about location really as I lived in Glasgow for a short time so know how to get around!
