B&Bs for stopover to Cornwall?

Can anyone recommend a good B&B in Devon/Somerset for a stop-over on the way to Cornwall from Surrey. I think we'll be going along the A303 and not make it past Exeter on the first leg... We're four (kids nearly 5 and 3yrs old) so would like somewhere with a family room and perhaps a farm.
Thanks.

Not very exciting, but the Exeter services travelodge has family rooms.

Sorry cant help but just wanted to say we drove from Scotland to St Ives in one go. It was far easier, quicker and cheaper than stopping off. We left at 4am and got there late afternoon.

Exeter's only about 3 or 4 hours away. We leave about 10 am (from Herts) and get to Crornwall at tea-time, towing as well. Just do what fatjac says. The dcs will sleep most of the way. Stop somewhere for breakfast and let them have a run around. Will save a fortune!

We stayed here a few years back for a wedding. Looks as if it has since been refurbished and now ££. Almost opposite the Clarks Village with shopping and play area.

we're driving to cornwall (Looe) in one go from SW London, just making a day of it! Will stop for lunch somewhere.

Thanks for these tips. Doing the whole journey in one go is do-able but sometimes the kids don't sleep in the car and hours awake strapped in is not much fun for them. Also, we could make a bit more of a holiday of it by stopping off somewhere where there's a good family attraction. Had thought of a safari park (Longleat, not sure exactly where it is mind) but then realised thats more sitting in the car!! The Venn place looks lovely but perhaps a bit too far...Travelodge practical but not what we had in mind really. Any more tips anyone?

Ive booked lovely farm with indoor pool near glastonbury, mapleleaf middlewick holiday cottages they do bed and breakfast, same as you couldnt face the whole journey with 2 kids in one go.

Don't know of B&Bs along A303 but Stourhead is just off the road as is Stonehenge. For a light meal (lovely cream tea) there is a very nice little tea room at this vineyard (which also does tours) which is right on the A303 near Monkton.

We usually stop at the premier travel inn at taunton - it's not swish but it is fine and cheap. I do it from Cheshire though - when we lived in Surrey we'd do it in one go. You could make a day of it by stopping for lunch and a play at Stonehenge, Cheddar Gorge, maybe Tintagel?
