Lewes - nice hotel or B&B recommendation?

Does anyone know a nice place to stay in or near Lewes in East Sussex? I am going to a wedding in the summer.

Shelleys is the obvious.

There's a lovely place called Crossways just outside of Lewes but you might need to have dinner there too.

Knowing Lewes though there are probably some nice little places to stay too !

Shelleys is lovely - but for decent B and Bs, go to Lewes' independent website for them:

The White Hart in Lewes High street is really nice and has a great indoor pool too!
