Really, really need a break. Would consider camping but it's too cold this time of year. DSs are 6 months and 3 years so needs to be baby friendly. Any suggestions?

How cheap is cheap?

We have a baby friendly flat in Salcombe Devon. Not sure how long it would take from London though. It is £295 for 7 nights from 13.2.09. www.devonholidayhouses.co.uk.

these people are incredibly reasonable for off peak times.

We're going to one soon - sleeps 8 for 4 nights, works out at £45 per person - what a bargain!

On the lakes just north of the M4 (2 hrs from London with a good wind).

Great leisure pool for kids. Near Cotswold towns for days out (just 10 mins from Cirencester).

Fimbo - under £300 would suit us.

Other suggestions look good - will check them out, ta very much. Any more?

Bump because it looks like Monday's trip to Center Parcs Elvedon is likely to be snowed off and they won't let us change the booking so we might need to find a v cheap replacement break for the week after! Needs to be within 2 hours of London and have stuff for a 2yo to do...

Think you might be worrying a bit too much ! It might not even snow ! If it does and you could still get there center parcs would be lovely in the snow-imagine the outdoor pool it would be fab.
