Anyone been to Ribby Hall Village near Blackpool

Hi - have just gone back to work after mat leave and need something to look forward to and cheer me up so have been looking for a summer holiday location.

We usually go for a short break to center parcs but ds1 is now at school which makes cp a bit more expensive as we have to go in school holidays.

Have seen ribby hall village which looks lovely - still quite expensive but cheaper than center parcs and accommodation looks nicer.

So is it nice and what are the facilities like? Our 3 boys will be 18 months, 4 and 6 when we would be going - is it suitable for these ages?

Thank you

Yes a few years back,my children were about same age as yours... lodge was spotless and lovely, there were activities to do for the children during the day, pool was small but clean, place was full of ducks, near Blackpool&St Annes for beach time. Sports hall/gym place was great.
It was fine! Bit far for us to go again, plus we like trying new places, but yes, would recommend. Unless other folk have been more recently?

Went about 5 years ago. There was a play park, outdoor tennis courts, indoor courts (played badminton), nice pool (yes, it was quite small), horse riding, pedalo boats, ducks to feed. The house we stayed in was very nice. We got a bus into Blackpool very easily and went to the Pleasure Beach. Enormous fun.

My dds were about 7 and 5 at the time, I think. If you like all those sporty facilites on site, I think you'd like it. Staff were nice.

I went on my 30th with all mu girl friends and had lovely time.
The accomodation is lovely.
We had ducks at the patio doors to feed. Swimming pool , fishing , horse riding. I was pg at the time so enjoyed the spa facilities.
Lot's of familys there.
Not sure about evening as we went to the lovely restaraunt there and they had adult entertainment on in the evening!Quick drive into Blackpool , St Annes too.

I would definately return with my dc!

Went there about 10 years ago and had the funniest holiday ever there! Sorry but your thread just brought it all back

I believe it's been taken over since we were there and upgraded more, but the lodge we stayed in was massive, spotless and well kitted out. Remember there being a fab pool and sauna/steam room. Also good buger place (girlie weekend - we weren't going to cook ), ended up hanging out there late night and entertaining the staff there!

Taxi cost £13-£20 to Blackpool. Varied on every trip
