Thinking of booking for Summer.
Have been to Haven before, most recently Devon Cliffs, and the past 3 years we've been to Butlins Minehead (desperate for a change now!!)

Any opinions / tips on local area also welcome

Tenby is lovely, lots to do round there and fab beaches. Folly Farm is very nearby, which is a good day out.
Kiln Park used to be mega busy in the high season - swimming pool would be packed etc.
Lots of entertainment, but not quite as um, polished as Butlins, IYKWIM?

How old are your DCs? Mine are now 8, 6 and 4 and loved Kiln Park a couple of years ago, but prefer Butlins now.

Its a big site, but lots to do and direct access to the beach,
They beach is lovley
as is tenby and surrounding areas.
Saundersfoot is nice
Folly Farm is good
Oakwood great for older hildren
Heatherton again prob better for older children
Myparents have a static just outside tenby so spend a lot of time there, we love it!

Thanks for your replies.
The dc will be 6, 4 and 1.

I know it will be busy, but so will everywhere else at that time of year!
Not too bothered about the entertainment - dh, dc and I tend to have a few early drinks and back to caravan by 9pm (then a bottle of wine when dc asleep!!)

Lydstep Beach is a better choice if you are not too dependant on the entertainment, although there is a clubhouse and indoor pool. The site is Haven owned and is further around the coast from Kiln Park. It is closer to the beach which is pebbles with some sand. They have a lovely play area which my kids adore.lydstep beach There is absolutely loads to do in the area for your kids age group, mine loved roaming around Pembroke Castle.
