my poor head is spinning. i want to get to wimledon from luton airport as economically as poss. Family of five taxi is about 80 pounds eachway. have tried trains and national express but nothing direct. NAT Exp say they go to putney but they only go to victoria when I route it. So can anyone recommend an indirect route using above? I donn't know london myself. Thank you so much

There is a direct train - Thameslink - from Luton to Wimbledon, I believe.

But I would guess it will also depend on what time of day/night you're travelling.

If you want to drive, drive down M1 till you get to the M25, round the M25 till you get to junction 9 (I think) for the A3, then Wimbledon is about 10 minutes drive North.

Hiya

First Capital Connect run a train from Luton to Wimbledon , they are very well priced too. I hope this helps.
