do you want to stay in cheltenham town center or just nearby?

The 'central' premier inn is out of town, not stayed there but it has the railway line running literally right next to it and you must be able to hear the trains. They are 20 metres (if not closer) away It's next door to TGI fridays

The 'west' one, although not stayed there is also out of town but close to some retail parks, sainsburys, next and the like and probably not a bad choice.

we stayed last year at the 'cheltenham chase' (another as it's actually in brockworth which is halfway betweent chelt and glos) hotel which I can say was great value for money. The room had a fridge as well for milk and the like. but I think it was a bit more something like about £75 a night, it included the biggest choice of buffet brakfast you can imagine and also free use of the swimming pool.

just checked a hotel booking website and it says it's £54/night - deffo bargain, we thought it cheap at £70!

I'm quite often found here in the very early hours - insomnia.

There is a new Express by Holiday Inn or whatever it is called fairly centrally in Cheltenham. Is pretty new and so looks quite nice. Its near the newish cinema/restaurant complex.

Another good choice would be the Big Sleep, which is centrally located
