Can anyone recommnd a hotel or B&B in Chester please?

DH and I are off to Chester for a friend's party next weekend; however as we're leaving dd with my parents we quite fancy booking into a hotel for the night rather than scrounging a sofabed. Any thoughts on where we could stay please?

I stayed in Hoole Hall Hotel on a course yonks back - twas very nice - it's a bit outside the city centre though

That's not a prob Whizzz, they live outside the centre too, so either dh or I will be off the booze and having to drive (unfortunately). Thanks, will take a look.

Do NOT stay in the Stone Villas. It has five stars but has been taken over and is nowhere near as good.

You could try Kilmorey Lodge on Hoole Road. Try Bed and Breakfast Nationwide;
