Recommendations for nice restaurants in North Yorks/Darlington/Middlesbrough please!

Dh taking me out tomorrow night but we haven't got a clue where to go.

I want to go somewhere nice to show off my new shoes and dress

Not indian though as dh isn't keen.

In middlesbrough you would have to go to Yarm restaurant called Chadwicks.In north yorkshire there is the tontine and the Crab and lobster.

I thought of the crab and lobster but I dont like Seafood so its out.

I'll have a look at Chadwicks and Tontine.

agree Chadwicks v nice, if a little footballery, also Crathorne hall nr Yarm if you want v posh formality, there are nice places in darlo but I never go out so don't know them

Darlington has lots of ok places, jo rigatoni's italian is ok, there is one in Darlington and one in Middlesbrough i think.

It depents what you want. Pizza Express is ok but not very posh! There is a nice chinese as well but i cannot remember what it is calle. there is a nice restaurant on Dukes Street in Darlington, again cant remember the name, it is pricey though!

We went to Jo Rigatones last year.
Was ok I guess.

I can't really find anything on Chadwicks but should be good if its in Yarm
