Anyone recommend a beachfront holiday rental?

Anywhere in the UK, not too posh but right on the beach or near as poss.

we once rented a place in Southwold, tis a pebbly beach, but cottage was right on the beach.

Pebbles is fine, it's scenery I fancy so Southwold's good .
