Question about Haven, Butlins, Park Resort, Pontins...

Just wondering in general what the main differences are between these companies?

Is anyone nicer/better than the rest?

All/any to be avoided?

Or is it just down to individual sites?

Haven tend to do caravans, whereas Butlins and Pontins have chalets. Have been to Butlins Bognor Regis and a couple of Havens - Butlins had a bit more entertainment but both were pretty decent, cheapish holidays.
I think it depends on what you want to do on holiday - Haven probably better if you like to go out and do your own thing. Our DCs loved both.

I have done most of them and now we go to Butins every year and we stay in a Gold Apartment, we go to MInehead as we live next door to Bognor Reigis one so that would be much of a holiday!

We have 2 children 2 and 4 and they love MInehead there is Bob the BUildren play yuard and a steam railway next door, the food has always been excellent and the rooms/apartments are always very clean and tidy.

Its affordable since we can't manage to afford to go abroard and we always have alot of fun.
