Just returned from Cornwall and want to book again for next year. We stayed in Haven but this time we want to stay somewhere else.

Looking for recommendations before we book

Wot about Croyde in North Devon ? Its owned by Parkdean (similar to Haven but smaller and more personal we find)

here is their website

Thanks for that link VaginaShmergina.

They have parks in Cornwall which look great but I cant book yet as it only goes up to end of the season .. Grrrrr!

You sound similar to us Aimsmum. We would normally just use our accomodation as a base as well, but this year we found that having dd, who is just 10 months, meant we were using the accomodation and facilites more than usual.

An indoor pool is also essential for us because of dd. If it's rubbish weather at last we can go swimming with her.
Did newquay have an indoor pool?

Hendra holiday park has an indoor pool. (Near Newquay)

Gwel-an-Mor also have indoor pool, spa, gym facilities, but not exactly a holiday park as such

hughjarssss · 16/09/2008 10:46

Have you stayed at Hendra JRocks? I've heard from another MN'er that it looks nice.

No, have been there to swim, but I live in Cornwall so don't tend to holiday here

I think general opinion is that Hendra is actually quite nice. some reviews here
