dorset - waterside holiday park, weymouth or cottage in corfe castle ?

Anyone been to either - both look brill in different ways. Trouble is not sure whether to go down the holiday park route with all the great amenities for kids or just plump for cottage style accommodation in the corfe castle area. Can anyone help ? Is dorset easy to travel around Thanks louise

weymouth is best.

corfe is pretty, but to go anywhere you need to drive. weymouth is fab.....we have been there twice this summer (to a haven camp), and the children loved it.

love dorset, weymouth is fab and you can use it as a base to travel around dorset-i'd opt for caravan-its a lovely park too and right opposite a fairground!!

depends what you want to do.
weymouth has busses and everything compact.
corfe is beautiful. nice country and walks.
