Anyone stayed on the Isle of Islay / Arran / Mull of Kintyre? Looking for recommendations.

Hi, we are going away for a few days next week, not booked anywhere yet but are planning to drive / ferry over to the Western Isles and will probably stay on Islay for a few days and also Arran & Mull of Kintyre I think. Has anyone been to any of these places and could you recommend a hotel / B&B?

we will be on holiday on arran next week too! we go to arran every year because we love it. we usually rent a cottage with friends but have also stayed at the auchrannie hotel, which is nice.
