Hi, anyone been on some good walks in the Gower, S.Wales? Will be carrying DS in backpack.

Can you also recommend some indoor activities for a 1yr old (swimming pools?). We're going next week and the forecast doesn't look like it's going to be sitting around on the beach weather!

It's probably 20 yrs since I was last there but it is gorgeous! Loads of walking opportunities, and not too strenuous so should be OK with a backpack. Rhossilli beach is lovely, as is Three Cliffs Bay. Reynoldstone is pretty. Go up to the Downs to see Arthurs Seat ( a big rock) or there is a castle to visit. In my day you had to go into Swansea for swimming and the leisure centre was good - although 20 yrs on who knows! Swansea is worth a visit anyway if the weather is really bad. Enjoy your holiday.
