No children near exter!

The mil has offered to look after the children on the bank holiday weekend at her house . We live in London and the mil lives in Exeter. Hoping to stay not more than 2 hrs drive from Exeter as dd not well.

Anyone got any ideas? Not somewhere remote like Dartmoor but close to a decent restaurant and pref hotel with pool.
