Herne Bay in the rain - what to do?

Staying with the in-laws this week - had planned to spend our days on the beach but the weather has different ideas. Anyone been to the Hippodrome a soft play area - can't find a website?

FioFio used to live near there, maybe she'll see this thread. Have you tried Netmums?

has the hippodrome reopened? If not snappy's in whitstable (5 minute drive) is good

Wildwood is good (if a bit pricey).

Further affield the beach swimming pool at kingmead in canterbury is ace (very warm + shallow enough for under 5s to really enjoy)
