studlet grange (nr swindon) - what's it like for a day out (3yo and 1yo)? any other recommendations vaguely near-ish?

house is all packed up ready for our move on monday so we'd like to get out for a day

swindon-ish would be a good place to meet the ILs for a day

can't think what's in swindon tbh (ILs in oxford on the oxford swindon road)

there's a nice farm place called Milletts (playground, animals, loads of space, shop, nice cafe etc.) but I don't have my bearings AT ALL in that area so it's probably way too far from Swindon

Steam Museum in Swindon

Bowood house near Calne. Fantastic, huge outdoor adventure playground and indoor softplay. Ok ish cafe, and sunday lunch in main restaurant in house. here
