Bedruthan Steps Hotel - Anyone been there this Summer?

Off to Bedruthan Steps in a couple of weeks. When we were there last year they had purchased the adjacent hotel and DH is now concerned that there will be demolition / building works going on as this next-door site is developed. Can anyone put his mind at rest?

Ring them and ask them?

Yes Thingone, that was what I suggested to DH too. He seems to think MNer's opinions are much more valid and truthful (which they are, of course ).

I will ring them too though.

we went in june. yes building work going on but all very well shielded from hotel - really made no difference to our holiday at all. in fact watching the cranes & diggers from the windows were a blessing when the weather was so lousy!!1
