Family Friendly Hotel in Lake District preferably around Lake Windermere

we will be spending a few days in the Lake District in September on the way back from Scotland. We only intend to stay a couple of nights (mon,Tues probably) so a cottage is out.
Can anyone recommend a family friendly hotel, our DD will be 18 mths old.

We stayed here a couple of years ago and it was fab. I think they do shorter breaks than a week, but haven't time to check right now.

It's nearer Ullswater than Windermere, mind you.
