Hi

We are camping between Perranporth and St Agnes this summer and are taking one of our dogs with us.

Its important to note which beaches are dog friendly. I found this guide online which has a link on the first page (dogs on beaches guide) which is the most comprehensive and up to date map of dog friendly beaches I could find.

I have been checking out which attractions admit dogs as well, as if the weather is warm we won't be able to leave her in the camper while we go off and be touristy.

The Eden Project here don't admit dogs - hoping to do that on a cool or rainy day.

The Seal Sanctuary at Helston here actually states on their website that "We are dog friendly." - they welcome well behaved dogs on leads.

The China Clay Country Park here admits dogs on leads.

We are really hoping for good weather as we mainly want to chill out around the campsite and give the kids loads of time at the beach.

Hope you have a great time.

That's a really helpful post moosemama.

Really wanted to go to the seal sanctaury and now I can persuade dp as its a chance take the dog!

We've also got fingers crossed for good beach weather, thinking about going to holywell bay beach as its dog friendly and has a little stream which will be good for dd.

Hope you have a great holiday!

moosemama... see my post above re. adders. According to my mum a dog has died recently in Hayle after being bitten by an adder.

Good idea to do Eden Project on cool day anyway, as it is red hot inside the biospheres (or whatever they are called) anyway!

Not sure if Lost Gardens of Heligan admit dogs, but I think they may do (probably on lead). They are very beautiful.

Trevarno definitely admits dogs.

Ellbell - That is good advice, I must remember about the adders
