Has anyone been to Instow?
we have booked a last minute week and it seems there is nothing to do with a three t=year old other than sand if its not rainy apart from the big sheep.
But that seems expensive and as she has several severe food allergies being around animals is not always the best plan.

Instow is lovely, we had a week at Bideford a few years ago which is just across the river. Instow beach was always nearly empty even on a sunny August day.

It didn't rain when we were there but there are things to do in Barnstaple and Westward ho, both of those are close by.

Atlantic Shopping Village just outside Bideford has a big indoor play area (and loads of stuff outside if the weather is OK). You could leave DD with DH while you shop!!!!

Big Sheep has indoor play area too.

Appledore Hmmm, Our little boy got bitten by a dog there, the owner was throwing a frisbee over the tourists sitting on the beach for it to run after.

DH complained (as you would) and we got told to f... off, back where you came from. Shame that one person can put you off somewhere but she did!
