Malory - why are you cross with Johnnie ? and do your girls have wetsuits ? My friend just bought her dd a shortie one for Cornwall - and I was wondering if thats where I had gone wrong as my dd always says the sea is too cold !

Fish and chips at Stein's chippy?

Lobster hatchery should keep them entertained for all of half an hour, but you can adopt a lobster and track its 'progress' on line for £1, which our kids find amusing.

Catch the little boat over to Rock and marvel at the worlds filthiest public loos in the beach car park!

Go fishing or crabbing.

Buy local paper and see if there are any activities on for the local kids and gatecrash.
