Hello this year we will find ourselves in York over Christmas due to a wedding on 27th, we are going to travel on 24th and spend Christmas in York for something a little different. We are wondering if there will be anywhere open for dinner on Christmas day? It can be a sit down restaurant/Indian/Chineese Takeaway/Pizza we are not at all fussy. We are so used to having the usual big traditional family Christmas so this is something a little different and we are very much OK with that, just not sure what/if anything will be open. We do not live in England so are not aware of the usual Christmas day situation there.
