Nice country pub outside York

Hi all - I’m looking for a nice country pub up to about 30 mins outside York for dinner. Not Michelin standard but really great pub food and lovely log fire type place. Thanks 🙏

Stone Trough Inn at Kirkham

Fairfax Arms at Gilling East is good too.

The Crooked Billet near Tadcaster is lovely. If you want somewhere pretty posh, the Crab and Lobster near Asenby is tres chic

The Durham Ox at Crayke

Abbey Inn at Byland if you're pushing the boat out... also Golden Lion at Osmotherly
