Cracking hotel in London

Looking for a belter of a hotel in London for two nights in London at the end of October. I’m looking at the Shard which I’ve stayed at and adored it. For a joint mother and son special birthday trip (both adults) and don’t mind bunking in a twin room together. If someone knows other gems of a hotel please would you mind sharing your recommendations. Thanks so much.

Recently stayed at Moxy Piccadilly Circus. Right in the heart of London, loved it.

We unexpectedly loved staying in Canary Wharf this summer. Great for transport, retail, restaurants etc. We stayed at the Marriott and had a suite.

Ham Yard Hotel in Piccadilly is lovely

I like the Ham Yard hotel, great location.

All the Firmdale hotels are pretty nice.

Nomad (Bow Street) also nice. Spectacular restaurant.

nHow Hotel Shoreditch has a very cool aesthetic and is in a great area.

Budget?

if you want good but a bit quirky we liked the Exhibitionist in South Kensington, rooms not big but location is brilliant especially if there is something on at the Albert Hall and for the museums. Great independent restaurants nearby too

I like The Ned.

We loved the Karma Sanctum SoHo.
