Luxury cabin in Scotland - what do you think?

Maybe I've watched too many Four in a Bed but checked into our luxury cabin ( their description) for 3 nights and saw this toilet roll. There is one other full roll , only two of us but it just looks mean to me when you are paying 220 pounds a night. Kitchen roll only this.

Thats a bit rubbish, but I’ve seen places have none and have very high nightly rates.

I would complain. Do you have 1 bin bag, 1 dishwasher tablet and 1 blue cloth under the sink? 😀That always feels VERY mean.

The kitchen roll is fine imo but the toilet roll is just mean. Aren’t there any more toilet rolls?

I said in my OP. I did pass on my thoughts to the owner and he offered to bring more supplies round. We had already bought some. First time I've ever encountered such stinginess.

as there is a full toilet roll too then surely two of you wouldn’t use more than that anyway?

It’s not about how much they use, it’s about how it looks. If you book a cabin that is described as ‘luxury’, you expect your experience to be luxurious! New toilet rolls in every bathroom, fresh soap, plenty of kitchen supplies, an overflowing welcome basket. If the OP had wanted ‘budget break’, she’d have booked that and paid the corresponding price! What she didn’t expect was to pay ‘luxury’ and get ‘cheap’.

£220 a night - yes I would expect better than this.

Why because those of us who can only afford budget clearly aren’t allowed to use toilet roll? Incidentally every budget glamping pod I’ve been to has had plenty of toilet roll.

I literally have no idea how you got that from what I wrote but I’m sure it makes sense to you 🤷‍♀️ I, however, have always assumed that everyone is allowed to use toilet roll.

My sister has cleaned holiday homes in the past that were a fortune to book. She says the icing on the cake was one where the owner had a log burner. Logs were beside the burner with a note stating that if any logs were used, the holidaymakers would need to pay for them and to leave the money on the mantelpiece.

£2000 a week and no logs, kindling or matches in a cottage we once rented 😂
