Has anyone been to Center Parcs over Christmas or New Year

We go to CP twice a year and are looking to go over new year.

Has anyone been and can you tell me is it heaving/ok/can't get a table etc etc

Haven't been at Xmas myself but friends went last year and said yes it was heaving and also quite expensive, lots of the restaurants had special set menus that you had to book in advance etc.

Thanks, I'm not one for crowds anything described as "heaving" makes me run for the hills.
