Please help me with a boat trip in London!

I will have a few hours to spare in London tomorrow and just looking for recommendations for a reasonably priced boat trip – from the London eye area, I don’t really mind where we go to – possibly to Greenwich? I thought the Uber boats were the cheapest but when I have priced that it is nearly £60 for two of us. Are there any better options? Thanks in advance!

Today did a City Cruise boat trip from Westminster Pier to Greenwich and return.. Great tour guide commentary to listen to.. snacks and bar on board, single adult £15.. return adult £21. Booked on the day, no issue! We had a valid day rail TfL travelcard so also got a 1/3 off the price as advertised at the ticket office but only can be purchased with the discount at Westminster Pier ticket office. Have fun..!

The Uber Boat is a nice way to see the river, but it is more like public transport than a traditional sightseeing cruise, so I can understand why the price feels high. You could look at the Thames Clippers route and just use it as a one-way journey to Greenwich rather than a return, which might work out cheaper. Greenwich is a lovely place to spend a few hours too, with the market, park and riverside walks. Another option is one of the shorter sightseeing cruises from the London Eye pier, which are often better value if you mainly want the experience rather than getting somewhere.

Yeah the Uber boat is probably not the best. And yeah that is expensive! It's because it's more for commuters doing shorter journeys I think? Rather than a leisurely tourist experience.

The two companies PP mentioned are both good. You can go to Greenwich or the other way down to Kew. Then you could visit the gardens or walk down the river to Richmond which is quite pretty. They have a nice big green and lots of pubs. And of course the park.

Greenwich has a nice park too obviously.

Both routes are pleasant and you can buy drinks/snacks on board. I think it's about an hour each way. I usually just do one way then back on tube/dlr.
