Help me find an affordable sea view for a week by myself

I’m looking to somewhere to stay for a week on my own in Feb/March/April next year so I can have peace and quiet with my thesis.

I can see myself sitting in a window with a sea view while I study! Or a lake view.

Ideally no more than 3 hours drive from Worcester.

Happy for a lodge, flat, caravan - not too £££.
Any ideas?

Victoria Dock in Caernarfon might be perfect. There’s a Premier Inn (ask for a room with a harbour view) and a Travelodge right on the harbour, next door to Galeri, an arts centre (theatre / gallery / restaurant / cafe) all just outside the historic town.
