Ideas for Last Minute Activity Friday Evening in London?

Hello! I'm looking for some advice or ideas, please :-) I've booked tickets for my husband & brother to an amazing gig in London on Friday night as a big birthday present - but I booked through Viagogo (yep, I knew it was a gamble...).

Until a couple days ago all looked well, with tickets on their way via UPS. Now they appear to have been lost somewhere in Spain - I'd not realised the seller wasn't in the UK - and it seems highly unlikely they'll arrive.

The tickets are guaranteed & I'll probably get my money back eventually, but I've also paid for a pricey hotel near the Royal Albert Hall & asked both to book the time off from work for a big surprise, which now isn't going to happen...

Rather than cancel the whole thing, I'm trying to think of something else I might be able to book last minute - like a special/cool restaurant, show or something - but I've been mega stressed on endless calls with Viagogo & UPS & my frazzled brain is out of energy. Doesn't help that it's a half-term heat wave either...

Any ideas gratefully received!

I would be tempted to fess up and make arrangements for something else. You should be able to cancel your hotel.

But, if you look at a site like lovetheatre.com, you can filter for that date and see shows with availability. Hard to make any recommendations without knowing what they're into, though.

Also, are paper tickets still a thing??

Live comedy on the Tattershall castle floating comedy club. Brilliant night with some very good comedians for next to nothing. My go to for a good night out in London

If it is the gig at the RAH you could probably get returns if you keep your eyes peeled.

Likewise, paper tickets aren’t a thing. If they’re indeed real tickets then ring the venue and get them to send them via email surely.
