London for 16 year olds

DS and friend will be staying with a family member for a few days in July (W4 so on the tube). I haven’t lived in London for 25 years so I’m out of touch. We have been regularly and DS will be fine with navigating public transport. We are from a big UK city so he is used to urban environments.

Can people suggest ideas for 16 year olds. I’ll get them to do the research but I want to suggest a few things. Friend is super laid back and would probably be happy to spend 4 days playing football in the park! He can do that up here! Family member will be working, not accompanying them.

It was Camden and Kensington market when I was his age but a 16 year old boy now might not find it so interesting. He likes museums but friend doesn’t but I thought the Clink museum in Southwark might be fun. I’ve never been as always have a younger child in tow!

I always enjoy the walk from Westminster to Tower Bridge along the South Bank so any gems near here? (I am aware the clink is on route). They are always starving as well but don’t have loads of ££ so cheap eat suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Leake Street graffiti tunnels near the London Eye are quite fun (and free).

Oh yes, good shout. I think they would find that interesting.

The clink is great. Tiny but great
