Based near Edinburgh and looking for a last minute weekend break at a holiday park. Never been to any. Max 2-3 hour drive from Edinburgh.
Any recommendations of good ones?
Got 2 teens and a dog

We really liked Loch Tay Highland Lodges, near Killin. But we went in the summer, and spent a lot of time on watersports. It’s largely cabins - no bar, pool etc.

Unfortunately it's fully booked when we want to go but have heard good reviews about it

The Parkdean site at Whitley Bay is nothing fancy but it's often cheaper than other sites and makes a decent base for exploring. There's a beach at the end of the road, lovely walk along the prom into Whitley Bay and down to Tynemouth, you can get into Northumberland to Alnwick, Alnmouth, Warkworth etc, get the bus or metro in Newcastle city centre.

Hunters Quay or Drimsynie in Argyll.
Watersports available for the teens.
Check the midge forecast as it's on the West coast.
