Recommendations for UK break with baby

We’d like to take our baby (will be around 10mo) on a short break and I would love some recommendations to help us narrow down our choices!

We’re looking for:

  • Somewhere within train distance to London so we can meet up with friends
  • a location where there are a variety of attractions nearby suitable for baby (newly crawling and may even be a walker by then!)
  • quiet but not in the middle of nowhere

Moreton in marsh in the Cotswolds. Has a station in town. Has places to rent and is a good base. We took our dc to Cotswold wildlife park and various open gardens from there. Daylesford Organic isn’t far either. Babies just fit in really! Just look for parks and gardens!

The Bear in Surrey is very welcoming of young children https://www.bearesher.co.uk/family-friendly-hotel-esher/ It’s 10 mins from Esher station and there’s lots to do nearby.

Thanks, I’ll take a look!

Lots of places in Kent 😊 we have an 8 year old and a 2 year old and we tend to do a caravan holiday. Nothing fancy, we do park dean ( shock horror) but you get what you pay for and we've not had a bad holiday.
We are doing Hastings in October and hoping that will be good too:)
