Kennet & Avon canal holiday, anyone?

Anyone been? Going? Ideas? We will be 4 adults and 2 DSs (8 & 10), next June (09).

Not done the K & A but have done quite a few other canals. Its great fun and I highly recommend it. I even met my DH on the canals.

We went several years ago, 4 adults with a 3yo, 2yo and baby, starting from just outside Bath , returning to Bristol.

Do you remember the hire company by any chance? Drawing a bit of a blank as the main one insists you name your dates- for June 09, of course, it says 'no availability' as they haven't fixed their prices yet! I just want to browse what's available!

I know you posted this a while ago, but I've just spotted you. We went about 3 or 4 years ago with Sally Boats and they were very good.
