Anyone done a house swap thingy - national or international?

Am thinking of doing this next year to save a bit of cash on accomodation - not sure whether to do it nationally or internationally but would appreciate good and bad experiences!!

Hi have swapped a couple of times in the past through the NCt - they used to have a list - don't know if they still do though - worked well - one swap even lent us their car ! Hi idea ! Mumsnet should have a home swap list !
