Anywhere like Lewes within an hour of Legoland, Windsor?

I'd like to take my children to legoland this year but I'd also like to find a nice town to stay in that is similar to Lewes, similar in that it is pretty, has antique shops and fantastic independent shops, and a similar size too. Does any such place exist? 😊

I don't want to go to London.

Marlow? Henley? Both close to Windsor. Probably a few in Surrey as well.

We always stay in Guildford when we go to Lego land, not quite as market quaint as Lewes but not dissimilar at all.

Marlow

Henley on Thames or Marlow

OK thank you! It's looking like either Marlow, Henley or Guildford! Any other suggestions welcome 😊

St Albans - there's a street antique market every other weekend as you're interested in antiques. The cathedral is stunning too.

At the risk of being completely obvious, how about Windsor itself?

I’d probably go for Henley over Marlow but that’s just personal preference. Beaconsfield might also be worth a look.

St Albans. Takes about 45 min drive to get to Legoland.
