Airbnb - am I missing something on how to filter?

I'm a bit new to all of this so sorry if I am being dense... it's just me and DP going away. I want to search for 1 bedroom apartments. But the only option seems to be for 1+ so I keep getting 2/3/4 bedrooms which I don't want. Am I missing something here? How do I search for only 1 bedroom?

Choose 1 bedroom and also 1 bed? I find that very unusual though as I have been searching for the same and hundreds of 1 bedroom places come up

Book a two bed an only use one room?

Does it matter if there is more than one bedroom? You can put a price limit after all. Or will that mean you get a mix of fancy one-bedroom places and less-desiral two-bedroom places?
