Unique / whimsical cottage with hot tub within an hour or so from Manchester?

DD is turning 16 in April and this is what she has asked for. An overnight stay for the two of us in a cute whimsical cottage. Ideally in the countryside or a village so we can go for a walk in the day then relax in the hot tub in the evening.

She has had a difficult year and I would love to arrange this for her but struggling to find anything. Im happy to drive but as its only for one night I'd prefer it to be within an hour and a half of Manchester (where we live)

Can anyone recommend anywhere? Thank you

Absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately not available for a 1 night stay which is all we will be able to do.

Actual cottages don’t tend to allow one night only stays, but have you tried searching for “lodges” type places? “Shepherds hut” type “cute looking caravan” things? Those places often have hot tubs too.

I think you're going to struggle for one night in a cottage as most places will be 2-3 night minimum (like the gorgeous windmill in Ellesmere port copied below).

Something to bearing mind that we book 3 nights but stay 2 (Fri And Sat ) so we get the use of the cottage all Sunday and don't have to check out by 10am. So maybe book Saturday and Sunday night but go home later Sunday.

We stayed in a wonderful farmhouse in Wales about 45 mins out of snowdonia with a hot tub. North Wales would be a good idea.

There's literally loads of lovely places to stay around Cheshire.

How about pine lake diamond resort in Carnforth. I highly highly recommend the pool and spa area and it doesn't cost the earth. Theres a booths in Carnforth to get trest food and you can go to strangers on a train cafe for great food and sometimes entertainment.

Lots on Airbnb. I put in a random midweek date in April, hot tub, in the Yorkshire Dales and hundreds popped up, loads look like cottages in villages.

Thank you so much, I didn't even think to check Airbnb. I think I've found somewhere, less than an hour away, lovely walks and next to a stream. Hopefully it has enough whimsy for her 😁

Try a website called canopy and stars. Lots of whimsical places and you can search for hot tubs.
