I'm looking for somewhere for us to spend christmas! Just somewhere where we can spend a few days just me,dp and dd (7 months)

Has anyone got any recommadations, we haven't got a massive amount of money.

Thinking of somewhere really christmassy IYKWIM.

If UK can I suggest the Yorkshire Dales. Very pretty.

UK branflake, Where would you stay?

We spent last christmas in Thornton Le Dale. Lovely pretty village in Yorkshire. Stream runs through it and has lovely pushchair friendly walks (30 mins from York, about 45 from the coast). Best of all, it has fantastic Christmas lights, good pubs and tea shops. Really magical. We stayed in a cottage but there are plenty of B&B options. We liked it so much we're going for New Year this year.
