Hello all,
Not from the UK but my mother has always wanted to visit Bath as her brother spent many years there when he was younger and she always wondered what it was like.
She has suggested a girls family trip (4 of us) between Christmas and NY (27th-30th) to Bath but Im wondering will everything be open shops/cafes/restaraunt etc?
Thank you.

Yes, most things should be open, although it will probably be heaving with shoppers trying to get a bargain in the sales.
The roman baths are in the middle of the main shopping area. It's busy enough on a regular weekend with tourists and rugby fans.

Yes it will be open and very lovely! Bath is always busy so don’t let that put you off.

It will be very busy. If they are interested in specific attractions check if they are open, shops will be though
