Best holiday near(ish) Bournemouth

We're looking to travel near where my dad lives so he can join us for some of the holiday. But I'm overwhelmed looking at the options. We're after a place with a pool, evening entertainment and a few dinner options onsite. We're not fussy about accomodation or being close to the beach as we live next to the sea.

Any personal reccomendations would be greatly welcomed.

Sandford Holiday Park is good, and Rockley Park

How close do you want to be? Have a look at Freshwater Beach, bit further round the coast next to the lovely West Bay.

@StealthMama I'm not worried about being super close it's more about not being too far from my Dad and Stepmum so they can join us.

Hoburne Naish or Sandy Balls are both good.
