DH turns 40 next year. I’d like to book a little weekend away; childcare is lacking so our 10 & 11 year olds will be coming with us.
I keep defaulting back to Center Parcs as it’s convenient and if the children are happy, we’ll be happier (DS is AuDHD and can be very hard work). They’re not ones for long walks just for the sake of it, so my dream of a beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds with peaceful strolls & pub lunches would just be exhausting as the moaning would be relentless sadly.
We’re South East, so I’d like to keep it within 2 hours of London ideally. Is there anywhere you can recommend? We can afford Center Parcs, but it does feel like dreadful value for money 😂
