We (a family of 2 adults and 3 tweens/teens) are travelling back from Scotland and breaking our journey in the Lakes for 1 night next year. Any suggestions for a good hotel/B&B in a lovely setting where we can have a triple and a double room adjoining? I’d really prefer our kids to be in a separate room to us and if possible not be in a bland travel lodge. Our route takes us down the M6 so coming off into Kendal for example could be an option but I’m open to any suggestions. Thanks for your help!
