Halloween Days Out in North West - not jump scare or pumpkin patch!

We are in Manchester area for a few days next week. I have an 11 y/o and 16 y/o. We live near York so that is usually a good Halloween day out that is different to a scary walk or pumpkin patch. Is there anything a bit different i.e. a light walk or themed town/village, crazy golf, bar, experience, theme park? We prefer Addams family silly spooky not adult ghost walks etc - 11 y/o is still quite nervous.

Salford Museum and Art Gallery (short bus ride from city centre) has half term Halloween activities but just go anyway for Lark Hill Place (recreation of Victorian street) which will be dressed up

Ordsall Hall is another one worth a visit in any case but also has Halloween half term activities - bus or tram from city centre
