Crieff Hydro is good - you can hire a cottage/chalet, or get a deal on a room - which includes free childcare. Lots of activities on site, spa, swimming pools, horseriding, and it's in a lovely part of the country too.

Another vote for Crieff Hydro. We've just got back from 5 days there. It's fab!
It's expensive but the price includes six hours childcare a day ( kids club vg indeed) and allowance of 20 quid or so towards dinner ( if you're in the hotel) . THey have great interconnecting rooms in the hotel. Kids high tea at 4.30 good. Fantastic pool, pony rides, tennis, playground, lots of grounds to explore. Kids can stay with you in evenings for early meal or go to kids club - nobody minds. My husband is almost evangelical about it....

Hmm.. may be wrong not sure if they're on any sites. I've usually contacted the accommodation office in the hotel directly. Out of school holidays ( Scottish school holidays run from end June to mid August) and weekdays are cheaper. The most expensive nights are Friday, Saturday.
It's worth phoning them and seeing what they can come up with.
