Hi, suggestions for hotels please.
Trying to organise family weekend away.
Late notice as we've been waiting on dates for urgent hospital procedure for DH.
So next weekend.
We plan to drive South to Cambridge stay overnight Friday (have somewhere in mind) then Saturday night planned to stay round Dartford so we can do an outdoor activity we all enjoy, but our usual Dartford premier inn is double the price we normally pay.
Others are fully booked..Sunday is usually price.
I looked at Dartford travel crossing Travelodge as the price is better but recent reviews are shocking and as we are trying to do something nice I don't want it spoiled. I don't really want to do 3 hotels in 3 days, I'd prefer to stay Sat and Sunday at same place.
We are DM, DD, DC just3. One room, just need beds bath and TV. Oh and parking.
Cambridge, Dartford is our usual route to get to family in South England where we will be staying from Monday. DH struggling to do longer stages due to illness.
I'd be willing to look at slightly different areas on the route if they have a child friendly railway and nice play areas.
Tall order as very specific but it's DHs big birthday and illness makes him worry it might be his last one.
