Very vague criteria but im looking for ideas for a holiday base for my nearly 2 year olds birthday

We are based in Scotland but can and do travel nationwide quite easily so distance isnt an issue.

What would be your top small kids attractions in the UK? Could be anything, theme park, national trust property, museum......

Hoping to incorporate it with a ride on a double decker bus for my 5 year old, so near a larger town or city that has these is a bonus! (Yes we live very rural!)

We will book a lodge in the area so not looking for accommodation, just trying to narrow down an area!

Thank you! This is perfect.

I see there is a Bewilderwood in Cheshire too.

Off to research some more! Might put Norfolk down for our Easter holiday next year!

Cheshire is a good call actually, our favourites are Bewilderwood and the Ice Cream farm. There are tons of decent days out in Cheshire though and depending on where your stay, really easy to get into Chester, Manchester or Liverpool.

Gulliver’s Kingdom at Matlock Bath is great for pre-schoolers. Your 5yo might light the buses and trams at Crich Tramway. My toddler also enjoyed the steam train (Peak Rail) and the aquarium. We stayed in a lodge at Darwin Forest which has an indoor pool and soft play.

Chester would be lovely for a short break. Nice city and Chester Zoo is the best in the country IMO.

Are all these places in london its self or would we need a car?
We could quite easily fly down to London, saving travel time and she would love the peppa pig bus ride!

Sundown Adventureland is great for kids. Lots for toddlers. You can come for the day or they have lodges and can stay for a few nights also
