Hi mumsnetters. I'm planning a family holiday for next July. Is there anywhere within a 3-4 hour drive from Stratford upon Avon that anyone could recommend for a 3 yr old boy and 4 yr old boy? They are very active! Thinking of going for about 3 or 4 nights.

What about Cromer ? Or anywhere on the Norfolk Coast ?
Beautiful soft sand.
I think that would probably be about 3.5hours from Stratford.

Or Tenby, in South Wales ?

Or Swanage, in Dorset ?

From Stratford, I guess all probably equal distance and all lovely sea sides.

Isle of Wight - lots to do plus the fun of a ferry.

Glasgow is brilliant.

Butlins. Hell for adults, but heaven for kids!

Haven Hafan Y Mor has lots of activities for children that age, including a brilliant splash park. The restaurants onsite are decent no not too pricey so you wouldn’t have to cook every day, and it’s got direct beach access.

Caravan site in the lake district or north wales?
